Special pinhole cameras are available for very dirty locations; such as papermachine wet-end and press locations. Air passes through a small hole just in front of the pinhole lens, completely preventing contamination. Users report never needing to clean the camera lens, compared to before when they would only keep clean for a few hours. No water sprays or wipers obscuring the image at critical times.
