How to immediately detect uncoated margin width and coating splashes

Images from the two cameras are displayed side by side, as shown in the example below. The left image displays the camera image and data from the drive side of the roll, and the right image displays the same data from the operator, or tending side of the roll.

In summary - the system will detect the sheet edges and coating width.
When the coating width changes, or no coat is detected; an alarm can be generated.
System can also be used to create an instant alarm when coating has started or stopped.

Additionally the system can be configured to look for coating splashes contaminating the backing roll, again creating an alarm.
